Cooking is an amazing way to spend time together, be creative, and learn about organization and cooperation. Cook ATX offers fun, hands-on, and informative team building workshops that will leave your group feeling nourished, refreshed, and ready to tackle the next big project, all while you make a delicious meal together!

The camaraderie of cooking together and the heavenly aromas will transport you to far away places while you solidify  friendships and laugh and learn together. At the end of the class, everyone enjoys a delicious meal together and helps tidy up. Voilà!

Professional Healthy Chef & Culinary Instruction

Cook ATX workshops are led by Natural Foods Chef Rachel Zierzow who has been teaching healthy cooking and mindfulness since 2006. These hands-on team building workshops can be organized at your business or in the chef’s home in southwest Austin. Workshops involve some chef instruction to get started, lots of team work, and even a little bit of competition if your group is so inclined! Events held during the day are usually for members of a group or team, whereas evening or weekend events can include spouses and/or families depending on the purpose of the event.

Your Location or Ours – Wide Choice of Menus

Chef Rachel can travel to your facility to conduct a workshop for a small set-up fee. Groups over 10-15 can be accommodated if you have a space that will work for a class. Feel free to give us a call to discuss your particular needs with Chef Rachel. Workshops are customized for each group, and if your time is limited, classes can be shorted to fit most any time frame (~2 hours and up). 

Choose from a wide variety of international-themed menus. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice. Ingredients are natural, organic and local whenever possible!

COVID-19 Precautions:

All in-person classes, lessons, and workshops are postponed until further notice due to shelter-in-place and social distancing orders in effect in Travis County.

To help people adjust to this crisis I am creating a new, affordable subscription service for everyone who is now finding themselves cooking from home more than ever. I hope to offer it for free or pay-what-you-can to people who have lost their jobs in this crisis. We are still working on the details, but hope to have it live in early April.
